Cfengine Mission Engineer Training Certification Program

Become a Cfengine certified Mission Engineer and automate critical services in your environment with Cfengine's industry leading autonomous management technology. Certification includes three days of hands-on training, earning you the title Mission Engineer and authorized credentials.

Training introduces core concepts and brings in-depth explanations of the architecture, deployment and implementation of Cfengine Nova to your environment. Work-flows are presented in a platform independent fashion, and detailed lab sessions and exercises walk you through all aspects of mission processes.

Upon completion of the training, Cfengine will grant the professional certification grade of “Cfengine Mission Engineer”, authorizing graduates to perform a variety of services related to installation, system course adjustment, and on-going knowledge management.

The training course conveys the technical curriculum via interactive and hands-on labs for each major concept that is introduced. A final exam is included to measure individual performance.

Prerequisites

Prior to attending, trainees should acquire a basic working understanding of Unix, Linux and Microsoft platforms and TCP/IP networking concepts.

Classroom Materials

Trainees receive course-ware containing all class material and lab exercises used during the 3 days of training, as well as access to the Cfengine Knowledge Map for the duration of the course. Topics covered include:
