Cfengine.com is a small company of experts brought together by cfengine's principal author Professor Mark Burgess of Oslo University College, Norway. Our aim is to build a team of experienced scientists and engineers with deep knowledge of the principles of voluntary cooperation -- to empower computing environments large and small.
By commercializing some cfengine activities, all users will come to benefit. Developments to the free and open software base will be able move at a faster pace, with great quality assurance, and custom additions will add unprecedented features.
Cfengine has been at the leading edge of research into system configuration since 1993, running on systems of between 1 and 25,000 computers in a broad range of organizations, world-wide.
